329 companies, three pillars, one place to see the entire stack Australia's trade businesses actually run. Free to use, from today.
Ten years ago the average trade business ran on a diary, a spreadsheet and a good memory. Today it runs 6.2 software platforms, a yard full of connected gear, and a finance stack it never asked for.
The tools arrived. The map did not.
Ask ten subbies what they run and you will get ten different answers, a few strong opinions, and at least one horror story about the platform that promised the world and delivered a login screen. There has never been a single, honest, Australian view of what is actually out there. So we built one.
Say hello to the TradieTech directory
329 companies, sorted the way the room is: Management, Muscle and Money. Every company worth knowing, in one place, searchable, free, and growing every fortnight. Go and have a look: tradietech.show/directory.
It runs on the same three pillars the whole event is built on:
Management is the software that runs the modern job site. 178 companies, from job management and estimating to safety, BIM and site AI.
Muscle is the tools, plant and fleet that do the work. 112 companies, from power tools and telematics to robotics, exoskeletons and 3D printing.
Money is the fintech that plugs the margin leak. 39 companies, from payments and lending to payroll and the dashboards that tell you if the job actually made money.
What makes the cut
Not everything. The directory lists the tech, tools and finance a trade business adopts to run, build and grow. Not consumables, not raw materials, not the bloke who sells you screws. Every entry is active in Australia. And when a company is Aussie-founded, it gets the badge. 192 of the 329 carry it, that is 58% of the list built here, for here.
A map, not a leaderboard
We are not telling you which app to buy. Nobody can, because the right stack for a 12-person electrical firm is the wrong stack for a 120-person civil outfit.
What the directory does is end the guessing. It shows you the full field, grouped the way you actually think about the business: the stuff that runs the office, the stuff that does the work, the stuff that handles the money. See it all in one view and the real question stops being "what's the best?" and starts being "what do these need to do together?" That is the question that separates a business that bought software from a business that got leverage.
This is the start, not the finish
The list grows every fortnight. If you run something brilliant that is not on there, or you build trade tech and want to be seen, tell us: hello@tradietech.show. Spotted one we have missed, same address.
The directory is the map. TradieTech27, at MCEC Melbourne in October 2027, is the room where the whole thing comes to life: the Management, Muscle and Money that solve 40-trade friction, under one roof, for two days.
Don't just build. Scale.
